A serene stay near the beach
Our time at Hotel Blater was refreshing. We enjoyed the rooftop pool, which provided stunning views of the beach. It was a delight to have the quiet time by the ocean for relaxation, especially in the mornings when we had the pool to ourselves. The staff was accommodating, always eager to help despite our limited Spanish.
However, the location required a good 10 to 15-minute walk to get to the nearest restaurants and shops, which was a bit challenging in the heat, particularly at night. The streets were dark and could feel isolated, prompting us to rely on taxis more than expected.

The rooftop pool provided stunning views of the beach, especially during sunset when the tranquility was unmatched.
The absence of in-room coffee was disappointing, as I expected it to be provided based on the hotel's description.

The rooftop pool provided stunning views during sunset.
During my four-night stay, I encountered several issues. First, the room's security was concerning. the top lock didn't function properly, which made me feel uneasy. Furthermore, the hotel is not conveniently located near dining options. I had to walk about 10 minutes to reach the nearest restaurant, and the streets were poorly lit at night, making the experience uncomfortable.

Excellent experience with clean rooms and a stunning ocean view. The rooftop pool was a hidden gem, offering tranquility with no one else around during our morning swims. Though the beach location was beautiful, it might be a stretch for those who prefer easy access to shops and restaurants. Recommend trying the fresh, made-from-scratch pizza nearby for a delightful dining option.

great views but isolated location
The rooftop pool offered spectacular views, especially at sunset. I appreciated the helpful staff, who made communication easier despite my limited Spanish. The beachside recliners were fantastic for unwinding in the shade, adding to my relaxation. Enjoying a sea view from the King Room with Terrace was a highlight that I will remember.
The location required a 10 to 15-minute walk to dining options, which was challenging at night.

A Perfect Retreat on the Quieter Side of Zicatela
I loved my two-night solo getaway in the King Room with a lovely terrace that overlooked the ocean. Swimming in the serene rooftop pool during sunset was magical. Pro tip, explore the nearby fresh pizza spot for a delightful meal after your beach stroll. Just pack water for the walk!
